(ĐN)- A delegation led by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot had working sessions to Dong Nai branch of State Bank, Dong Nai Customs Department, Provincial State Treasury, Taxation and Finance Departments on December 31.

At the working sessions, the delegation heard reports made by the departments, branch and treasury, on their activities in 2010. Particularly, Dong Nai’s tax revenue in 2010 hit nearly VND11.5 trillion, an increase of 32 percent year-on-year and 27 percent of the whole year’s estimates.
Dong Nai Customs Department reported more than VND8 tril in revenues from export-import taxes in 2010, equivalent to162 percent of the estimation. Dong Nai’s total budget collection was also estimated to increase 18 percent over the estimates.
Speaking at the sessions, Chairman Vo Van Mot highly appreciated contributions made by the sectors to the province’s socio-economic development in 2010. He hoped that the sectors will continue their efforts to meet and exceed next year’s set targets.
