(ĐN)- The delegations led by Superior Buddhist Monk Thich Minh Chanh, Head of Dong Nai provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Committee, Bishop of Xuan Loc diocese Vu Dinh Hieu, and Pastor Nguyen Ton, head of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) on Tuesday paid Tet visits to the provincial leaders on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

The delegations were welcomed by Head of the Mass Mobilization Department of the provincial Party Committee Bui Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of the Inspection Commission of the provincial Party Committee Tran Van Tu, Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh and Mr. Tran Van Tu extended their Tet wishes to the religious dignitaries and followers across the province. They also hailed the contributions of religious dignitaries and followers to the province’s socio-economic development over the past years. They also hoped that the religious dignitaries and followers will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the local authorities in promoting national unity and make further practical contributions to the development of the province.
