(ĐN)- Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation (Dofico) on Monday celebrated the 5th anniversary of its existence and received the first-class Labor Medal. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Nam Hai, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot attended the event.

Established in 2005,
Dofico only consisted of 21 member companies. Today, Dofico comprises a varied network of 31 subsidiaries and associated companies located across the country. Dofico also increased its capital base to over VND 2.1 trillion last year, 2.4 times higher than that of 2005. The Dofico earned a total turnover of more than VND32.3 trillion during the 2005-2010 period. The Corporation has some 6000 employees and reported annual turnover of VND7,022 billion in 2010, nearly two times higher than the figure of 2005.Addressing at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai praised the achievements of Dofico over the past five years. He also said that Dofico should continue to uphold the parent companys mission, promote its name and image as well as expand into new markets.
At the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Le Hong, Dofico President and Director General and Nguyen Thanh Tam, Vice Director General were awarded the third class Labor Medal by the State President.
