Activities to take care of soldiers, poor and policy beneficiaries at Tet

(ĐN) – Dong Nai Police Department has recently presented 20 gifts worth VND1.5 million each to poor soldiers and families of soldiers working at oil rig safeguarding post No1 (DK1) and Truong Sa Island.

(ĐN) – Dong Nai Police Department has recently presented 20 gifts worth VND1.5 million each to poor soldiers and families of soldiers working at oil rig safeguarding post No1 (DK1) and Truong Sa Island.  

* On the occasion of the forthcoming Lunar New Year 2011, a delegation of Cuong Thuan IDICO Development Investment Corporation visited and presented 300 Tet gifts to poor minority ethnic families in Dinh Quan town’s Hiep Nghia village. Head of Dong Nai provincial Department of Propaganda and Training Huynh Van Toi accompanied with the delegation.

On this occasion, the corporation’s Deputy General Director, Mr. Pham Thanh Quang, donated VND7 million worth of a television for the village’s public house. Mr. Huynh Van Toi presented a television to Chau Ma ethnic household with difficult circumstance. The delegation also offered 100 other gifts to poor people in Bien Hoa city.

* Dong Nai provincial Labor Union coordinated with Dong Nai Transport Company handed over 200 bus tickets worth VND200 million for poor workers to return home for Tet. In the coming time, the union will cooperate with organizations to give 300 gifts valued at VND400,000 each to female workers with difficult circumstances.

* Dong Nai province Tennis Union also offered 200 gifts totaling VND60 million to poor people in Cam My and Dinh Quan districts. Besides, the union sent 100 gifts worth VND20 million to disadvantage students in Binh Duong province’s Tan Uyen district.    

* Dong Nai Customs Department visited and presented 30 Tet gifts each worth VND400,000 to families of AO/dioxin victims in Nhon Trach district’s Phu Hoi commune. On this occasion, Long Huong pagoda in Nhon Trach also gave 500 gifts totaling 100 million to blind people and difficult households in Long Tan, Phu Hoi and Phu Thanh communes.

* Dong Nai Construction Association in cooperation with Bien Hoa city-based Phuc Lam pagoda offered Tet gifts to 125 blind people in Trang Bom district. The delegation will continue to give 300 other gifts to poor people in Cam My and Xuan Loc districts, donate VND10 million to the provincial Study Promotion Association.
