(ĐN)- The Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province have sent a letter of congratulations to Catholic and Protestant dignitaries and Christian followers across the province on the occasion of Christmas 2010.
In their letter, the provincial leaders sent the best wishes to dignitaries, clergymen and all Catholic followers in the province, wishing all of them a happy and peaceful Christmas.
The provincial leaders also highlighted great efforts made by the Catholics and Protestants to the development of the province, contributing to fulfilling the province’s targets in 2010.
The provincial leaders expressed their belief that in the future, dignitaries, clergymen and all Catholic followers in Dong Nai would continue contributing to the province and the Church, following the motto “living the Gospel amid the nation and serving God, the Motherland and the nation”. They also called on dignitaries, clergymen and all Catholic followers in the province to join hands to make Dong Nai basically a modern – oriented industrialized province by 2015.

The birthday of Jesus Christ was celebrated with great joy on the night of December 24, across the province. Christian and protestant citizens living in Dong Nai province yesterday evening celebrated one of the most remarkable religious events and they had a wonderful and peaceful Christmas eve.
