Eighth National Patriotic Emulation Congress held

(ĐN)- The 8th National Patriotic Emulation Congress officially took place at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi this morning, December 27, with the participation of 1,500 delegates.

(ĐN)- The 8th National Patriotic Emulation Congress officially took place at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi this morning, December 27, with the participation of 1,500 delegates from the patriotic emulation movements from ministries, agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, as well as central and local organizations.

Eighth National Patriotic Emulation Congress held in Ha Noi

323 of those selected were women, or 22 percent, and 148 were from ethnic minorities, or 11 percent.

Dong Nai’s delegation, including 18 members, was led by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai.

The congress reviews the patriotic emulation movements during the last five years and preview plans for the next five years (2011-2015).

The congress will launch more patriotic emulation movements nationwide.
