(ĐN)- From the beginning of the year until now, Dong Nai solved jobs for 89,240 laborers, fulfilling 104.9 percent of the yearly plan, a 1.01 percent year-on-year increase, according to the statistic of Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Of the total, 49,082 people were recruited to work in enterprises, 32,624 others got jobs through social-economic programs. The province also made reasonable efforts to reduce unemployment rate in urban areas to 2.6 percent.
In 2011, Dong Nai will boost vocational training so as to provide skilled workers for local enterprises. The province targets to create 90,000 new jobs for laborers next year.
