(ĐN)- A ceremony was held at Dong Nai province’s Conference Centre on October 14 to honor outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs in 2010 to mark Vietnam Entrepreneur’s Day (Oct 13). The ceremony was attended by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, President of Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Vu Tien Loc, and representatives from departments, agencies and branches in the province.

At the ceremony, Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit and cups to 23 outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs. In addition, the organizers also honored 17 typical enterprises and entrepreneurs for their efforts in business and social activities.
On this occasion, 7 outstanding entrepreneurs in Dong Nai received Thanh Giong Cup granted by the VCCI. They are seven of the 100 Thanh Giong Cup winners nationwide who recorded good business performance thereby creating jobs for the community and benefiting society.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai highly appreciated contributions made by enterprises and entrepreneurs to national achievements, socio-economic development and social welfare in recent years. He affirmed that the province would continue to improve business environment and speed up the administrative procedures reform to create favorable conditions for local companies to make effective business plans.
On this occasion, the organizers called on enterprises and individuals to make donations to support flood victims in central region.
