(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s tourist areas saw a remarkable increase in the number of tourists during the National Day holiday with four-day long holiday. Particularly, the number of visitors to Buu Long tourist area jumped by 30 per cent from the same period last year while the number of tourists coming to Nam Cat Tien National Park doubled over the same period last year and reached almost 700 including domestic and foreign visitors and Giang Dien Waterfall situated in Trang Bom district also saw a sharp increase in visitors. Most of tourists came from Ho Chi Minh city and provinces of Binh Duong, Long An ….
Local retail outlets reported a dramatic increase in sales during the holiday, some as high as 30 per cent in the Dong Nai Big C supermarket and 22 per cent in Coop Mart Bien Hoa. The supermarkets are launching a promotion program with many incentives for buyers of high-quality Vietnamese goods. Thousands of items are sold at discount prices from 5% to 50%.
