The minimum wage of Vietnamese laborers working in Taiwanese-invested businesses in Dong Nai is VND 1.3 million per month. Accordingly, workers at local Taiwanese firms can take monthly salaries including allowances ranging from VND 1.8 million to VND 2 million.
Hoang also said that local Taiwanese businesses do not pay attention to recruiting workers from other provinces while the labor force in the province has become scarce and limited, causing a serious labor shortage.
