Local authorities said that the blaze started in a dry grass field. Hot and dry weather combined with strong winds have created favourable conditions for the fires to spread, they added. Firefighters fought for more than three hours to stamp out the fire. No injuries or property damage were reported.
Reasons of the forest fire are still under investigations.
