(ĐN)- The Thu Bien bridge to link Binh Duong province’s Tan Uyen district and Dong Nai province’s Vinh Cuu district was inaugurated and officially opened to traffic on May 19 in the presence of two province’s leaders and people.

The bridge, which began construction in March 2007, has a total investment capital of more than VND162 billion, invested by Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces. It is 511 metres long and 17 metres wide and has four lanes.
Vice Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee Le Thanh Cung said that the new bridge will help to stir up the economic development of Tan Uyen and Vinh Cuu districts in particularly and will be an impetus for the socio-economic development of Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces in generally in the next time.
