Most of the blood donors were young people and students. Over the past time, the campaign for voluntary blood donations has spread far and wide with an increasing number of donors, especially young people and students, ready to help save other people’s lives.
The association will strive to achieve the target of 1,800 units of blood donated this year, meeting blood demands of the city hospitals.
