(ĐN)- Wild elephants that escaped from Vinh Cuu Relics and Nature Reserve have been causing concern to residents in Phu Ly commune in Dong Nai province’s Vinh Cuu district. A herd of about 3-4 elephants have frequently appeared in hamlets of 1, 2 and 4 and they have destroyed houses and crops of local residents.
These wild elephants are seen in Ma Da commune and Bo Hao area. The herd roamed into the residential area near the Suoi Say forest management station of Vinh Cuu Relics and Nature Reserve on Sunday night (April 11). The animals destroyed a house of local inhabitant.
