Under the agreement, the two sides will work together to promote adoption and implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in Dong Nai. This is a pilot project funded by Canadian Government that aims to foster better production conditions for agricultural goods in order to ensure food safety and hygiene standards as well as help the producers get a GAP certificate. Dong Nai was among the five selected cities and provinces in the Southern region to implement this pilot project. The project will extend until the end of 2013.
