Provincial leader receives delegation of Gyeongnam province

(ĐN)- Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai on Tuesday received a delegation of Gyeongnam province led by Mr. Namhaean AnSung Thek, head of Economic Department of local government.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between two provinces during the past 15 years.

Vice Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai expressed his hope for further development of relations between the two provinces.

Mr. Namhaean AnSung Thek said that since the establishment of the bilateral diplomatic ties in 1996, two-way trade has sharply increased and Dong Nai’s exports to Gyeongnam province make up 70 per cent of total export turnover of the province to Korea. He also said Korea now ranked third among 33 countries and territories doing business with Dong Nai.

While in Dong Nai, the delegation visited Tran Bien Temple of Literature, Thai Duong Pottery Company and Changshin Vietnam Company.
