(ĐN)- On February 13, the Lunar New Year’s Eve, tens of thousands of people gathered in the Tran Bien Temple of Literature for a fireworks display to welcome in Lunar New Year 2010. Bien Hoa’s sky lit up with sparkling fireworks in the Lunar New Year’s Eve. Firework display also took place in Xuan Loc district. Other programmes included musical performances, dragon dance, etc to entertain local people. A live television link between localities across the province was launched by Dong Nai Radio and Television on the eve of the Lunar New Year Festival.

| The Provincial leaders burn incense at Tran Bien Temple of Literature |
On this occasion, the provincial leaders burnt incense in memory of well-known men who were worshiped at Tran Bien Temple of Literature. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot, on behalf of the provincial leaders, extended his best wishes to local people on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year festival (Tet) and hoped that the province will make greater success in 2010.
