Deputy PM visits Dong Nai on lunar New Year festival

(ĐN)- On the third day of the Lunar New Year (February 16), Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong visited and wished a Happy Lunar New Year to Dong Nai province’s leaders and people.

(ĐN)- On the third day of the Lunar New Year (February 16), Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong visited and wished a Happy Lunar New Year to Dong Nai province’s leaders and people. The Deputy Prime Minister was welcomed by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot and Bien Hoa city’s leaders.

At the reception, Chairman Vo Van Mot briefed the Deputy PM on Dong Nai’s socio-economic development in 2009.

The Deputy PM praised the achievements of the province over the past year. He also urged local authorities to make greater efforts to fulfill the outlined tasks for 2010.

While in Dong Nai, the Deputy PM attended a ceremony to commemorate and honor predecessors and devoted teachers at Tran Bien Temple of Literature, visited and extended Tet wishes to family of Mr. Phan Van Trang, former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, family of the late Colonel Tran Cong An, Hero of the People’s Armed Forces, senior lieutenant-colonel Pham Hanh Phuc, Hero of the People’s Armed Forces and Vietnamese heroic mother Tran Thi Hai who resided in Bien Hoa city.
