Dong Nai Newspaper awards 200 scholarships to studious poor students

(ĐN)- In the morning of Dec. 5, at the Tran Bien Temple of Literature, Dong Nai Newspaper held the 8th “Overcoming present difficulties for brilliant future" scholarship awarding ceremony.

(ĐN)- In the morning of Dec. 5, at the Tran Bien Temple of Literature, Dong Nai Newspaper held the 8th “Overcoming the present difficulties for brilliant future" scholarship awarding ceremony. Attending the ceremony was leaders of provincial Study Promotion Association, Department of Education and Training.

At the ceremony, 200 scholarships worth VND1 million each were granted to primary and junior high school students across the province. The scholarship receivers are poor students with excellent achievements in study. The scholarships, funded by Truong Hai Auto Company (Thaco), aim at helping poor students overcome difficulties to study well.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy-Editor-in-chief Do Trung Tien expressed his hope that the scholarships will not only provide financial assistance for poor and studious students but also give strength to them on their way of learning.
