(ĐN)- This statement was made by Tekreth Kamrang, Vice Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce at a seminar in Phnom Penh on December 23 to promote trade and investment between Vietnam and Cambodia. The seminar was attended by the governmental officials and businesses from both countries. Among the participants of the seminar there was a trade promotion delegation from Dong Nai province led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ao Van Thinh.
During his speech at the seminar, Vice Chairman Ao Van Thinh said that the seminar is an excellent opportunity to boost economic and trade cooperation between
Cambodia and Vietnam in general and Dong Nai in particular. He also expressed his hope that Dong Nai would receive active support from the two countries’ governments to remove trade obstacles in order to promote cooperation and investment opportunities between two countries, especially between Cambodian and Dong Nai’s businesses.
Earlier on December 22, the trade promotion delegation from Dong Nai province visited and donated VND 100 million to the Cambodian Red Cross in Phnom Penh. Contributions from businesses participating in the Dong Nai delegation accounted for half of the money donated.
