(ĐN)- Late last week, a ceremony was held at the office of Tri An Commune’s People’s Committee in Vinh Cuu district to honor two Youth Union members in the locality for their bravery in catching robbers. The honorees included Tran Van Hiep and Nguyen Van Nhan who were born in 1989. They received the Tuoi Tre Dung Cam (Brave Youth) badges and cash rewards from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.

On the way to back home, Hiep and Nhan had heard a shout for help from a couple living in the same locality and seen two armed robbers riding motorbike who snatched handbag from this couple and the thieves rode away. Hiep and Nhan bravely chased after the two armed thieves and caught them. Hiep and Nhan helped this couple get back stolen property including over 6 million VND in cash and a cell phone.
