Reviewing writing contest “Follow Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example”

(ĐN)- A solemn ceremony was held on May 19 in the meeting hall of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee to review the writing contest of “Follow Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example”. This is a practical activity to mark 119th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh. Attending the ceremony was Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Head of Dong Nai provincial Department of Propaganda and Training Huynh Van Toi, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc, leaders of departments and agencies.

According to the organizing board, the contest aims to promote the campaign to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s example in ethics. After eight months of launching, from March till November 2008, the organizing board received about 5,632 writings.

The contest attracted the participation of workers, farmers, intellectuals, students, teachers and many others.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded a first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and four consolation prizes to individuals; granted eight collective prizes to units.

Addressing at the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of the Dong Nai Newspaper Tran Huy Thanh said that the contest contributed greatly to the campaign “Study and Follow Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example”, allowing the whole Party and the people have a deeper awareness of the great value of Ho Chi Minh’s thought and moral example, as well as making great change in the practice of following the President’s example.
