(ĐN)- Dong Nai Province entered an agreement with the Bretagne Region of France to develop a full livestock industry, including breeding, slaughtering and processing. The agreement was signed by Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot and President of the French Bretagne Region Jean-Yves Le Drian on March 17.

Chairman Vo Van Mot and President Jean-Yves Le Drian sign cooperation agreement.

Under the co-operation, Bretagne will assist Dong Nai Province to promote investment in the industry, introducing advanced breeding models to ensure food safety and increase product value.

Assisting with human resources for the industry development is also part of the co-operation.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman Vo Van Mot said that the province was paying special attention to agriculture and service development and promised continued administration reform to speed up investors activities.

President Jean Yves Le Drian said he believed in the large potential growth of Dong Nai and expected the signed co-operation would help speed up the Agro Park Project in the province’s Xuan Loc district.

As known, Dong Nai’s Donataba, Prudential Fund Managament, Proconco and Glon Group from Bretagne have received approval in principle to develop the project. The park is expected to attract domestic and foreign investors in general and those from Bretagne in particular in areas of breeding, slaughtering and processing.
