Provincial Oriental Medicine Association reviews its activities in 2008

(ĐN)- In the morning of February 9, at Dong Nai Traditional Medicine Hospital, the provincial oriental medicine association held a ceremony to celebrate the Hai Thuong Lan Ong’s death anniversary and review its activities in 2008.

(ĐN)- In the morning of February 9, at Dong Nai Traditional Medicine Hospital, the provincial Oriental Medicine Association held a ceremony to celebrate the Hai Thuong Lan Ong’s death anniversary and review its activities in 2008.

 

According to statistics, about 1.75 million patients were treated by traditional medicine last year; accordingly, the association provided free check-ups and medicine worth nearly VND12 billion for 781 people, up 140% of the year’s plan. In 2009, the association will make more efforts to assure the effectiveness of diagnosis, treatment and care for the patients.

  

At the same day, the provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital organized a meeting to review the 2008 performance and plan for 2009. In 2009, the hospital will strive to encourage the use of traditional medicine and medicinal herbs, establish traditional medicine centers, invested in modern equipments for assure the effectiveness of diagnosis, utilize modern equipment to improve the quality of treatment services.
