Tin Nghia company purchases Oriental hotel in Laos

(ĐN)- On November 3, Tin Nghia Company signed a contract to purchase a hotel in Phonthong district of Champasak province, Laos known as Champasak Oriental Hotel for over $4 million.

(ĐN)- On November 3, Tin Nghia Company signed a contract to purchase a hotel in Phonthong district of Champasak province, Laos known as Champasak Oriental Hotel for over $4 million. Also present to witness the signing were Governor of Champassak province Sonexay Siphandone, the Lao consul general in HCM City, Douangsonthi Thetlakhone, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot.

The construction project of Champasak Oriental Hotel kicked of in the end of 2006 and now 30% of the construction has been completed. This hotel comprises of 4 main buildings. Each building is a 3-stored building consists of 112 rooms. Each building has a conventional hall which can accommodate more than 2,000 people.

Speaking at the signing contract, Governor of Champassak province Sonexay Siphandone said that when the project is completed, the resort will attract tourists to the area and will play an important role in tourism development in Champassak province.

Earlier, Tin Nghia Company had bought 400 hectares of coffee plantation land in Laos and also had taken the lease on nearly 100 hectares of land there for growing coffee. The company expected that around 100 tones of coffee could be harvested from a 100-ha estate in 2008.
