(ĐN)- On October 29, the Provincial Standing Committee of the Party held a conference to review five years of implementing the seventh Central Resolution on promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc to realize the goal of “rich people, strong country, and an equal, democratic and civilized society”. Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Van Phi, Deputy Head of Ethnic Minorities Department under Central Public Relations Committee, Mr. Le Hong Phuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
During the past five years, Dong Nai’s party and people have made important contributions to promoting the great national unity, national construction and defence; create conditions for rapid and stable socio - economic development; promotion of the fight against corruption.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary Le Hong Phuong stressed that further efforts should be made to boost emulation movements at all levels in fulfillment of socio-economic goals; improve the the spiritual and material life of the people, especially those from remote areas and ethnic minority regions. He also praised the religious dignitaries and village patriarchs role in gathering people from all walks of life to build the great national unity bloc, as well as in implementing the poverty reduction movement and helping the authorities fulfill their duties.
