(ĐN)- A team of archaeological researchers from the Russian Institute of History and Material Culture under the Russian Academy of Sciences paid a four-day visit to Dong Nai, from November 11 to 14.

(ĐN)- A team of archaeological researchers from the Russian Institute of History and Material Culture under the Russian Academy of Sciences paid a four-day visit to Dong Nai, from November 11 to 14. During the visit, Russian researchers worked with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and they also visited the provincial museum to survey exhibits and displays as well as visited Go Me archaeological site in Nhon Trach district where the remains of two prehistoric men discovered. The work was done within the frame of the project “The historical process of the formation of early civilization in the South of Vietnam based on the archaeological documents. Russian researchers’ archaeological experiences in Central Asia and studies on aspects of the Kushan culture”. This project was cooperated by the Russian Institute of History and Material Culture and  Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and the Southern Institute for Sustainable Development. The project is supported by the Russian Fund of Human Sciences.
