Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bang told that Trinh’s native place was in Ben Tre province and her mother was mental ill. In early 2006, Bang’s neighbour took Trinh and her mother to Long Thanh district in order to bring her mother to see the doctor. Bang gave Trinh and her mother shelter in his garden and he also adopted Trinh into his family. At nearly two years old, Bang first discovered Trinh’s special ability while he was carrying her on his arm when he brought her to the river and she accidentally dropped into the water but she was able to float instead of sinking into the river. Her special ability remains unchanged until now. In the afternoon of November 3, a number of Trinh’s neighbours gathered at the river near her house to witness her special ability.
