(ĐN)- Recently, Dong Nai Department of Propaganda and Training has held a conference on attracting intellectuals and promoting the intellectual potential. The conference aimed to highlight and promote ideas and initiatives to build up a high-quality intellectual staff. It also aimed to find ways to effectively promote the intellectual potential to meet the requirement of the industrialization and modernization cause of the province.
According to the survey in State agencies, Paty organizations and State-owned enterprises, Dong Nai has over 20,000 people holding university degrees and higher degrees, of whom, 19.815 people hold university degrees and 298 hold higher education degrees. However, 17,000 out of 20,000 people are working in Dong Nai.
Addressing at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot urged local agencies and departments to provide intellectuals with a democratic working environment in which they are free to express their opinions, helping them to achieve their full potential.
