Some poor households will be exempted from residential land and house registration fees, according to the amendment of Resolution No 80/2008/NĐ-CP recently issued by the Prime Minister.
Under the new resolution, poor families in remote localities, ethnic minority ones in mountainous areas will enjoy the fee exemption.
Additionally, the amendment also defines new specific registration fees of vehicles. Hereby, boats with dead weights of less than 15 tonnes or main engines of less than 15 horse-power will not have to pay the registration tax.
