The capital of the fund is now about VND 24 billion. During the period, only one enterprise, Bien Hoa Packaging Joint Stock Company received loans from the Fund to address the environmental pollution. The Fund plans to lend about VND 20 billion to waste water treatment projects and environmental protection project including two concentrated waste water treatment stations, one in Xuan Loc Industrial Park with a loan of VND 7 billion, other in Bau Xeo Industrial Park with loan of nearly VND 7.35 billion, and one project of the Bien Hoa Urban Environment Services Company with loan of VND 5.6 billion.
Further, according to the assessment by Ao Van Thinh, the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Fund, enterprises that are in need of capital for addressing the environmental pollution have not yet accessed loans from the Fund.
