(ĐN)- The excavation at Tan Van island in Bien Hoa city has recently uncovered two ancient graves. The excavation was conducted by Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Southern Institute of Science and Society’s Archaeology Centre under guidance of Dr. Pham Quang Son and Master Nguyen Thi Hoai Huong.

Most importantly, the unearthed items help to study the period of time in which Cu Lao Pho’s port was establised as well as to study socio-economic development in Dong Nai in the 16th and 17th centuries.
