Site clearance and resettlement for Thu Bien Bridge project

(ĐN)- Presently, the Transport Work Construction Corporation, the constructor is speeding up the construction of Thu Bien Bridge which will be completed late this year. The construction of the bridge was started in March 2007.

(ĐN)- Presently, the Transport Work Construction Corporation, the constructor is speeding up the construction of Thu Bien Bridge which will be completed late this year. The construction of the bridge was started in March 2007. The bridge will connect provincial highway 746 (in Thuong Uyen commune, Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province) on one end and Provincial Highway 768 (in Thien Tan commune, Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province) on the other.

The Vinh Cuu district government is carrying out site clearance and resettlement for Thu Bien bridge project. It is estimated that nearly 30 households in hamlets of 1 and 2, Tan An commune  will have to move for the construction of Thu Bien bridge. Building houses for resettlement purposes are being implemented in the district.

When the bridge is completed, it will help to stir up the economic development of Tan Uyen and Vinh Cuu districts.
