(ĐN)- The reproductive health campaign has been run in high birth rate areas and in the difficult areas of Dong Nai province, and has had excellent results promoting and providing access to women’s reproduction health services. In the first phase of the year 2008, more than 15,300 women were provided with free gynaecological exam, 1,057 received free prenatal exams, 1,651 were given contraceptive injections and 4,578 received IUDs (intrauterine devices). Besides, 41,639 couples have sought out contraceptives.
For many, the most important thing is access to quality health services. With quality health care, the birth rate decreases and standards of living are improved.
