(ĐN)- On July 15, Dong Nai provincial Study Encouragement Association held a meeting to review its activities in the first half and set tasks for the last six months of this year.

During the past six months, the association and its branches mobilized more than VND2.5 billion to implement the province’s study encouragement activities. Accordingly, the association commended and rewarded students and teachers who have many excellent achievements in teaching and learning, awarded scholarships to outstanding poor students, provided infrastructure and upgraded schools, called children of poor families to return school. Besides, the study encouragement associations at all levels have continued to boost the movement of fondness families for learning. In the coming time, the association will focus on implementing the Direction No.11CT/TW of Politburo and Circular No.22TT/TU of the provincial Party’s Committee on promoting the Partys leadership in the study encouragement movement.
On this occasion, Viet Nam Study Encouragement Association awarded excellent emulation flags to the associations in the province and Nhon Trach district, presented certificates of merit to 86 collectives and 134 individuals for their contributions to the province’s study encouragement activities in 2007.
