(ĐN)- On March 28, a joint agreement on environmental protection was signed between representatives of the Dong Nai province Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the provincial Association of Science and Technology, the province’s labour federation, the provincial Farmers Association and Dong Nai Radio and Television. According to the agreement, the work will focus on researching and developing environmental
protection policies, raising environmental awareness and researching nature protection policy and management.On the same day, the Dong Nai Department of Natural Resources and Environment has held a ceremony to review the activities on environmental communication in 2006. According to the report from the department, the local departments, agencies and people has participated actively in the environment protection work, minimised environmental pollution, and used natural resources effectively.
