
(ĐN)- Mr. Le Hong Phuong, standing deputy secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, late last week, received in Dong Nai a delegation from the Government’s Public Administration Reform (PAR) Steering Committee led by Mr. Thang Van Phuc, General Secretary of the Steering Committee and Vice-Minister of Home Affairs.

The delegation had a working session with the province’s administration reform steering committee. The delegation was reported on the province’s efforts to accelerate and implement reforms during the year 2006. According the report from the province’s administration reform steering committee, the province has made great efforts to accelerate administrative procedures reform and apply the one-stop mechanism for transactions with people and enterprises, ensuring the simplicity, publicity, convenience for citizens and organisations.
Vice Minister Thang Van Phuc praised the efforts made by Dong Nai province in administrative reform in the past time. He underlined the need for Dong Nai to enhance measures to build a really professional administrative system in order to tighten the relation between government, people, and businesses. The Vice Minister also asked Dong Nai to focus on training train personnel in administrative management to serve people better.
Speaking at the working session, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Le Hong Phuong said that Dong Nai has implemented administrative reform effectively in the past years. Accordingly, the departments, agencies and branches in the province have to continue to strengthen administrative reform aiming to ensure the people’s rights.
