Dong Nai bustles in preparation for the Tet holidays

(ĐN)- On January 15, Mr. Le Hong Phuong, standing deputy secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee chaired a meeting to discuss and prepare for the upcoming activities in the Lunar New Year (Tet) of Dinh Hoi 2007.

(ĐN)- On January 15, Mr. Le Hong Phuong, standing deputy secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee chaired a meeting to discuss and prepare for the upcoming activities in the Lunar New Year (Tet) of Dinh Hoi 2007.

Representatives of the provincial relevant agencies reported at the meeting that the supply of goods will be large enough to satisfy the demands of local populations in the coming Tet holiday while many interesting cultural activities will be organised in tourism sites in the province like the Giang Dien Waterfall, the Green Club and Bo Cap Vang (Golden Scorpion) etc. during the Tet hoilday which hopes to attract several thousand visitors. At the same time, local administrations will take sound measures to prevent smuggling and trade fraud. Besides, there will be fireworks displays in Dong Nai province to welcome Tet. Fireworks displays will be organised in Tan Phu district and Bien Hoa city on the Lunar New Year Eve.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Hong Phuong requested local authorities to make every effort possible to ensure the poor and priority policy beneficiaries have a well-fed holiday as well as to lay out measures to prevent strikes in local enterprises before the Tet holiday.
