The charity performance receives donations of over VND 1 billion

(ĐN)- Recently, a charity performance entitled “For saving the lives of 300 children” has been organized at the provincial sporting event hall aiming to raise fund for heart surgeries of poor children in the province. Attending the performance were Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and the leaders of the provincial People’s Council and the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

At the performance, many organizations, enterprises and individuals inside and outside the province has pledged donations of more than VND 1 billion in order to fund heart surgeries for poor children throughout the province; a silver vase was auctioned for VND100 million and 3 mobile phone simcards were also auctioned at total value of approximately VND80 million. After the performance, an enterprise in Nhon Trach district has pledged to donate VND150 million.
