(ĐN)- The Vinh Cuu district Social Insurance Department reported that 3,603 people and 8,641 students in the district have bought voluntary medical insurance until the end of October, 2006, increased by 119.42 per cent and 31.52 per cent, respectively, compared with the corresponding 2005 periods.

Now, Vinh Cuu district saw a 49.09 per cent rise in the number of people who have obtained voluntary medical insurance cards, achieving 106.47% of the years target while the district’s voluntary medical insurance fund grew by 60.05 percent over the previous year, fulfilling 126.3% of the year’s target.
