(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s real GDP is estimated to be 14.3 per cent for 2006, according a meeting of the chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee and representatives of related agencies on Monday, November 20.
The industry-construction sector registered a 16.8 per cent increase, the service sector, 13.9 per cent, agriculture, forestry and fishery, 5.2 per cent. During the year, the provincial economic structure has undergone a positive shift: industry-construction to account for 57.4 per cent of the economic structure, service 28.9 per cent, agriculture, forestry and fishery 13.7 per cent.
The next year will open up new opportunities for Dong Nai and new challenges facing the province. Therefore, the chairman stressed the need to identify the most effective strategies to promote economic and social development in the province.
