Mildura Mayor Eddie Warhurst visits Dong Nai

(ĐN)- An Australian delegation of representatives of the Mildura Chamber of Commerce led by Mayor Eddie Warhurst recently paid a courtesy call on the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot.

Mildura Rural City Council Mayor Eddie Warhurst spoke about the city’s advantage in producing grape wine products which contribute 40 per cent of total grape wine production in Australia. He hoped that cooperation in the fields of trade and education between Dong Nai province and Mildura city would be further developed for the benefit of the two sides.  

Chairman Vo Van Mot welcomed the visit by the Mildura delegation to Dong Nai and also expressed the desire to expand and deepen cooperation with Mildura city, especially in education and trade. He said that he will visit Mildura city in 2007 upon the invitation of Mildura Rural City Council Mayor Eddie Warhurst.

Dong Nai province has 6 investment projects from Australia, with a combined capital of over US$ 53 million.
