Japanese Consul General Osamu Shiozaki pays a visit to Dong Nai

(ĐN) – Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot received on the afternoon of August 16 Japanese Consul General in HCM City, Osamu Shiozaki.

At the reception meeting, Shiozaki showed worries that strikes may occur in Dong Nai province in the upcoming Lunar New Year, causing great loss of production and considerable public inconvenience. Mot affirmed that Dong Nai is pursuant to the motto ‘authorities accompany enterprises.’ and local authorities actively support enterprises to facilitate business operations, demonstrating the province’s determination to work together with businesses to solve problems facing them in order to create a transparent investment environment. Mot also proposed that Japanese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City should require Japanese companies in the province to strictly comply with Vietnamese labor laws and regulations to avoid strikes in the future. He also said that the provincial authorities will be active in disseminating legal knowledge for workers to raise their awareness.
