A new container wharf is being constructed in the Go Dau A Port at the southern Dong Nai province with a total initial investment capital of 34 billion VND.
The wharf, which is designed to accommodate ships of up to 15,000 tonnes, is the first of its kind to be built in the province to serve import-export activities of enterprises in the area, particularly foreign-invested companies.
The Dong Nai Port Joint- Stock Company, the projects owner, so far operates there inland ports, namely Long Binh Tan, Go Dau A and Go Dau B, with a combined annual throughput of 1.8 million tonnes.
