(ĐN) – Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dang Thi Kim Nguyen received a delegation of Kon Tum People’s Committee led by Vice Chairwoman Truong Thi Ngoc Anh on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. At the meeting, representatives of both Kon Tum and Dong Nai provinces exchanged the experience on the development of culture and society.
Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh told that Kon Tum is presently carrying out the programs of demolishing dilapidated houses, eradicating hunger and alleviating poverty, taking care of people who made meritorious contributions to the country, and vocational training program, etc. She said her province wants to learn from Dong Nai’s development experience as Dong Nai gained good results from doing above programs. Kon Tum province’s leaders hoped that their visit to Dong Nai province would help promote the development of Dong Nai-Kon Tum relations.
Until now, Dong Nai has funded nearly VND 6 billion for 8 projects in Kon Tum province. These projects have come into use and brought effective results.
