Mercon Coffee Corporation launches coffee bean cleaning and grading plant in Long Thanh Industrial Park

(ĐN)- US-based Mercon Coffee Corp. launched a US$ 1.5 million coffee bean cleaning and grading plant in Long Thanh industrial park, Dong Nai province yesterday October 31, in the morning. Mercon Coffee Corporation is a leading supplier of green coffee to the international coffee roasting industry. The Mercon Coffee Groups roots began more than 100 years ago. Its major markets include the EU, the US and Middle America. About 300,000 tonnes of Mercon’s green coffee are consumed each year. In fact, Mercon Coffee Corporation entered the Vietnamese market to establish its representative office in Ho Chi Minh City nearly 10 years ago.

The new factory has an annual production capacity of 15,000 tones of coffee beans in the first year and 20,000-30,000 tonnes of coffee beans in the following years.
