(ĐN) - Recently, the ROK delegation from Kumho Asiana Group has paid a visit to Dong Nai province aiming to learn about the foreign investment policies and environment of the province. Kumho Asiana Group is a famous multinational company of
South Korea. Its business covers finance, trade, tire production, petrochemical industry, transportation, and civil aviation, etc. Kumho Asiana Group intends to invest 300 million dollars in establishing its tire manufacturing base in Dong Nai province. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot. He emphasized Nhon Trach Industrial Park is considered a favorable location that best suits the group needs and meets future growth demands of its new manufacturing plant. Mr. Vo Van Mot also said that the provincial government will speed up infrastructure construction in Nhon Trach Industrial Park as well as create the most favorable conditions for all businesses including foreign investors. Kumho Asiana was reminded that the group should carry out monitoring its production to make sure standards for environmental protection and pollution control, including waste management set by the Vietnam Environmental Protection Agency are met if it establishes new tire manufacturing base in the province.
