“Electronic Office” of Dong Nai Department of Science & Technology selected to contest ADOC Award

June 29, ten information technology (IT) products and solutions were selected to contest the APEC Digital Opportunity Centre (ADOC) Award. In which the solution entitled “Multi-media operating system” as designed by “Electronic Office” of  Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology was at top of the list. The entries were chosen by a council of experts from the National Steering Committee on IT, the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Ministries of Post and Telematics, Science and Technology, Trade, and IT Association. Their selection was based on criteria such as the frequency of using, the number of users, social impacts, and the lifespan of projects.

The ADOC Award is sponsored by the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) to recognize the best best e-Practices from the six APEC members including Viet Nam , Indonesia , the Philippines , Chile , Peru , and Papua New Guinea . Scope of target pratices is e-Government, e-Tax, e-Commerce, Customer relationship management, Enterprise resource planning, e-Payment, On-line game, e-Learning, Website design and Digital content development. The ADOC Award organizers will evaluate all the IT products and solutions of the national competitions among 6 countries to select the top-three winning practices in the ten categories.

The contest entitled "From Digital Divide to Digital Opportunity" will take place from 3 to 6 August, 05 in International Conference Center , North Taiwan .
