(ĐN)- According to the project just being approved by Vice Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem, new dormitories are going to build up to 2010. These will meet the demand of 60 % of univeristy students who stand in need of accomodation. New dormitories has a built-area of 970,000 square meters with total amount of 3,500 billion VND funded by State. Besides, the old damaged domitories will be also repaired. Ministry of Education and Training takes responsibility for implementing the project. Following Guidance Board of the project, dormitories of teachers’ colleges in general and universities and colleges in the Northern mountainous provinces in particular will be prioritized to built from now to 2007.
