(ĐN) - According to the report of Dinh Quan branch’s Vietnam Agriculture Bank, the branch has mobilized in the first half of 2005 a total amount of 117 billion VND, an increase of 12.6 billion VND compared with the beginning of this year. The figure presented to account for 92.4% of year target. Particularly, deposits from people in the district amounted to 16.971 billion VND, up 31% of the target.
From the beginning of this year until now, the branch loans have increased dramatically with total credit balance of 93.2 billion VND. Accordingly, 7,182 households were offered loans. Loan balance rose by 20% to hit 122 billion VND at the end of June 2005, this made up 87% of year target. Especially, 53% of loans were used for cattle breeding and cultivation and 14% was given to trading and home crafts. Debts during the treatment period were constantly and substantially reduced. Accordingly, amount of loans overdue made up 0.08% of total amount of loans outstanding.
